Microsoft could easily win over the young people in the iPhone user base with its Windows 10 mobile OS, and a Windows 10 smartphone would be a big win for Microsoft in the future.
In 2016, Apple’s smartphone market shares were smaller than they are now, but they were still a very strong position.
The device market share of Apple’s closest competitors was just 3.6 percent in 2016, down from 9.1 percent in 2015.
And that’s despite the fact that Apple’s iPhone sales have more than doubled in the past year.
Apple’s success in mobile is due to its innovative design, good hardware and a very good user experience.
But if Apple is to have a chance of competing with Samsung or its own devices in the next five years, it needs to start making more of an effort to win over young people.
Apple should stop worrying about its smartphone sales and focus on building a better smartphone that is going to sell a lot more than the iPhone ever did.
