Posted October 06, 2018 06:18:07 A recent survey by the U.S. Government Accountability Office (GAO) found that while a majority of web designers use one of the four main web design technologies, most don’t use a single one.
The survey, which included data from more than 20,000 respondents, found that 40 percent of respondents use Adobe Photoshop, and only 22 percent use Adobe Illustrator.
Adobe’s website design tools are considered the most popular, but Adobe’s own website design and development tools were in second place.
Google and Adobe have been pushing their own web design products, which are often used in conjunction with Adobe’s designs, for years.
Some of the web design industry’s biggest names in the industry, including Microsoft and Apple, have released their own products as well.
“The survey shows that the web is still the biggest creative opportunity,” Braden E. Lee, director of GAO’s Center for Web Standards, told CNN.
“And that’s an exciting time to be a web designer.”
Lee said the survey was a response to a number of consumer issues with web design.
“When we started doing this survey in 2007, there were still a lot of web design issues to deal with,” he said.
“There was a lot more awareness about the importance of the design side of the business.”
A recent study from Adobe found that web designers make up just over half of the industry’s workers, but they are more than twice as likely to make more than $60,000 a year.
They make up about 10 percent of the U;s tech industry, and make up almost a third of all graphic designers, according to Adobe.
Lee said that even though web designers are becoming more aware of the importance and value of their work, he doesn’t think there’s a huge amount of growth in their usage of the technology.
“It’s still a niche market,” Lee said.
